Hello and Welcome!
I am a music educator in my early thirties and a Korean who cherishes Reformed theology. Looking back on my journey, I realize how much I have been moving forward, yet so many new beginnings and possibilities still lie ahead. At one point, I hesitated to study abroad, but with the warm encouragement of someone close to me, I took a leap of faith and set foot in Germany. Now, after eight years of studying here, I have spent half of my young adulthood in this country. I firmly believe that it was the Holy Spirit who gave me the courage to make that decision, and I trust that every moment of my life is being guided by God's providence toward His good and perfect plan.
Currently, I am pursuing a degree in music education in Germany while working as a piano teacher and church accompanist. Additionally, I assist my mother, who has been running a piano academy in Korea since 1985, and I share my thoughts on music, art, and culture through writing.
Throughout my academic journey, I have attended three different Reformed churches, each unique in its own way but sharing a common theological foundation. These experiences have profoundly shaped my faith. I am passionate about learning God’s Word and integrating it into my studies and daily life. While I acknowledge that different interpretations and perspectives exist, I am confident in the faith that has been given to me and trust in the providence that guides each person’s journey.
Additionally, as a Korean living in Germany, I am deeply interested in collecting and curating resources and historical materials related to Korea, not only in Germany and Europe but around the world. I believe that my birth in Korea was not a coincidence, and I strive to explore and share insights from this perspective.
Through this blog, I hope to share my experiences and reflections on music education, faith, and culture with you. Feel free to explore, and I hope you find meaningful stories that resonate with you. 😊🎶
